Why did I choose to name this site 'Mirage Effect'? Well, that's a long story. As you can see, I'm really bad at names. At first I was thinking of a name with the word 'amethyst' in it, because it's my favourtie stone and it's a pretty word. But I did not want to make layouts all in purple or with amethysts just because of name (well, it would be weird to have the word "amethyst" in an emerald layout, right?). Then, we were doing film study in class, and my teacher really liked Disney's Fantasia. Well, that's a nice word for a site, but kind of overused. So, my friend, Misaki, suggested me to check thesaurus.com for more words. On that site, I found a bunch of synonyms for fantasia and one of them is Mirage. I really liked that word so it's decided that it's going to be a part of my graphic site's name. Then, I was thinking of adding Design after Mirage - Mirage Design. It was quite neat actually, because my first site, Millennium Destiny's acronym was MD as well, but Misaki also reminded me that design is also an overused word. So again, we looked for more words, and that's when 'effect' popped up! So it's done, Mirage Effect (ME<- I really like the acronym as well)
Millennium Destiny
The very first website that I had was Millennium Destiny, a fan site dedicated to Yu-Gi-Oh, which was my favourite anime at the time. Through this site, you can really see how I had improved by making different layouts and graphics. It's a shame that I had to close it because I lost interest in Yu-Gi-Oh. But, Millennium Destiny is still very special to me. Well, I still have the contents there, so if you want to see her(YES, her!), click here. But you are warned, because Fateback had added banners on top of every page, the layout is messed up, so don't scream when you see her. Also, remember, you can only look at her and marvel/admire at her and my incredible improvements. You cannot take anything from her. If, heaven forbid, I find you committing such horrible act, I'll send evil spirits after you! (and I mean it!)
Innermost
This is my blog and my first website that I didn't spend a month trying to figure out a good name for it. When I was thinking of doing a blog, the idea of 'innermost' just came to me. However, for various reasons, I had to close Innermost, reopen it, and then close it again. However, lo and behold, Innermost III has arrived! It's still alive and running.
